The marketing team’s objective is to help achieve the school’s overall goal in recruiting and enrolling a high-quality, diverse and successful student body, in addition to generating a greater awareness of the quality, scholarship and innovation within the school.

To accomplish this, the marketing team employs a plan involving news and media promotions, publications, video, web and other electronic communications and targeted social media marketing.

Graphic Design & Branding

The graphic design & branding team works to represent a cohesive visual identity for the School of Education & Human Development while abiding by Texas A&M brand guidelines.

Our office can accommodate requests, creation and approval for logos, flyers, brochures and other visual elements. We are responsible for directory photoshoots, maintaining the school’s photo repository and can provide event photography as well.

The web team for the Communications Office maintains the websites of the School of Education and Human Development and its departments. Our aim is to create a hub for content, information and resources that is accessible and aesthetically-pleasing.

We handle requests for site updates, edits and improvements. We also offer consultations to create new pages or sites.

The video team creates engaging content that supports the visual identity of the school while promoting awareness among prospectives, peers and the public.

We offer consultation for video projects and audio/video services for events.

News & Social Media

Our news and social media team work to promote school-level initiatives and accomplishments as well as grow our brand reach and engagement.

We cover events, write features and press releases, and promote those stories through our social media channels. Our team also coordinates media interviews and offers media training for faculty. We can assist in the creation of social-media channels — including branded profile or cover images — and provide support once those channels are created.

Our events team coordinates college events and also offers event-planning consultation, as well as equipment usage at events and conferences, and promotional items and giveaways. We also maintain the School of Education & Human Development calendar.

Our team is also responsible for the school’s relationship with donors.
